The plain-English rules for using CoreHub POS. Please read them before you create a shop.
Last updated: 16 September 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the CoreHub POS platform, the website at corehub.co.nz and any related services (together, "the Service"), provided by CoreHub Limited ("CoreHub", "we", "us" or "our"). By creating an account, using the demo or otherwise using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
CoreHub POS is a cloud-based point-of-sale and repair shop management system for New Zealand retail and repair businesses. It includes tools for sales and invoicing, repair tickets and bookings, stock and parts, customer records, customer notifications (SMS and email), EFTPOS integration and reporting.
We may improve, change or add to the Service over time. We will use reasonable efforts to give notice of changes that materially reduce functionality you rely on.
To use the Service you must register a shop and create an account with accurate, current information. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account and the accounts of staff you add. Tell us immediately at [email protected] if you believe an account has been compromised.
You are responsible for setting appropriate staff permissions and for removing access when staff leave your business.
The demo shop at demo.corehub.co.nz is a shared environment provided for evaluation only. Anything entered there may be seen by other visitors and is deleted from time to time without notice. Do not enter real customer details or other personal information into the demo. The demo is provided "as is" and no data entered into it is retained or recoverable.
The Service is provided on a subscription basis at the plan prices shown on our pricing page. Prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST unless stated otherwise. Fees are billed in advance for each billing period at the rate shown for your plan.
You may change plans or cancel at any time. Changes and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; fees already paid for the current period are not refundable unless required by law. There are no setup fees and no minimum term.
We may change our prices with at least 30 days' notice by email or by notice within the Service. Continued use of the Service after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.
If fees remain unpaid after a reasonable reminder we may suspend access to your account until payment is made.
You own the data you and your staff enter into the Service (including customer, sales, stock and repair records). You grant us a licence to host, copy, process and transmit that data solely to provide, secure and improve the Service, and to comply with law.
You can request an export of your data at any time, including after cancellation. We will keep your data available for export for at least 30 days after your account is closed, after which it may be permanently deleted.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for having the right to enter it, including any personal information about your customers. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
You agree not to:
Parts of the Service depend on third parties, including EFTPOS terminal providers, SMS and email delivery providers and payment processors. Their availability and terms are outside our control, and you may need to hold your own agreement with them (for example, with your EFTPOS provider). Fees charged by those providers are separate from our subscription fees.
We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may need to take the Service offline for maintenance and will try to do so outside normal trading hours with advance notice where practical.
Support is provided by our Hamilton-based team by phone and email during New Zealand business hours. Priority support is included in the Multi-store plan.
The Service, including its software, design, documentation and branding, is owned by CoreHub Limited or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you; they grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your business while your subscription is active.
The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law we exclude all implied warranties. Where you acquire the Service for business purposes, you agree that the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 does not apply.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CoreHub Limited is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with the Service. Our total liability to you for all claims in any 12-month period will not exceed the subscription fees you paid to us in that period.
You are responsible for keeping your own records as required by the Inland Revenue Department and other regulators. Reports produced by the Service are an aid to, not a substitute for, your own accounting.
You agree to indemnify CoreHub Limited and its staff against any claim, loss or expense arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or any data you enter into it, including claims by your customers.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from within the Service or by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, if fees are unpaid, or if we are required to by law. Where reasonable we will give you notice and an opportunity to fix the problem first.
On termination your right to use the Service ends. Sections on your data, intellectual property, liability and indemnity survive termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and, for significant changes, notify you by email or within the Service at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts. If you have a complaint, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it with you directly.
